I had L3/4 microdecompression surgery performed by Mr Chaudhary for a prolapsed disc in November 2016. It was such a relief to be under his expert care after months of pain, and to know that my spinal issues were being addressed and explained. From the pre-op assessment, through to surgery and the post-op discharge, Mr Chaudhary made time to explain everything and address my concerns. He even visited me on the Saturday morning (while off-duty, the ward nurses pointed out) before I left hospital after the op, to check on progress. Mr Chaudhary has been very encouraging and reassuring about my recovery, and though I understand how vital my own efforts and input are in that, the microsurgery has been a huge part of the journey towards a pain-free back. I am so grateful to Mr Chaudhary and his NHS team – and the tiny scar is impressive too!

I went into hospital in a great deal of pain needing c4/5 removed, the surgery went very well and when I woke from the operation I instantly felt 80% less pain which is continually improving, I managed the recovery well and left hospital 24 hours later, the after care was excellent, and may I add the Nuffield was extremely clean and staff very efficient. Mr Chaudhary is a brilliant surgeon and I would recommend him 100% he explains things very well and leaves you feeling you understand the process well. Thank you for the great care

After suffering with pain on a daily basis for over two years, I finally made my way through the system to Mr Chaudhary. He is an affable chap, which instantly put me at ease. He understood the dynamics of my home/work situation and spoke to me in terms of solutions with minimal impact. He performed a key hole discectomy and has changed my life completely. The operation was a great success and I am now virtually pain free, something I never thought I would achieve again. I can not thank this man enough and would highly recommend!!

I went to see Dr Chaudhary after 4 months of restricted mobility in my right leg/foot linked to a prolapsed disc. He was the first person to immediately identify that this was caused by a tethered nerve preventing the heel doing down and I felt he understood completely the impact this was having on my lifestyle and career where top physical fitness is a prerequisite. He went through my MRI scan enabling me to understand it, advised me of the risks of surgery, but recommended a L5-S1 microdisectomy, remaining realistic that existing nerve damage might reduce the possibility of a speedy recovery. I found him honest, transparent and one of those unique individuals that can listen/diagnose and advise with immense sensitivity, I was also reassured that he worked as a tight team with his anaesthetist and was able to talk me through what surgery would involve. I required something that would enable recovery without too much time off work and am really pleased with the outcome. Within a couple of hours I could walk properly placing the heel down and the tight feeling in my right leg was removed. Dr C could not have been more attentive, supportive and most importantly able to communicate his knowledge and advice in a way that was easy to understand and absorb. I cannot thank him enough for giving me my life back and returning to a career that means so much to me. Great surgery from a highly experienced individual with the best of communication and 'patient care' skills.
